About Us
McCall Community Tennis Association (MCTA) was formed in 2006 with the goals of providing/maintaining safe public tennis courts and bringing tennis opportunities to the community through regular play, lessons, and clinics for both children and adults.
We started with just three people in May of that year and have grown our membership considerably. MCTA is affiliated with the United States Tennis Association (USTA) and continues to receive support from them as well as from the Idaho Tennis Association (IdTA).
Within the last few years we replaced nets and did some repair work on the south two courts. In 2023 we rebuilt our backboard. |

Between 2006 and 2009, MCTA raised nearly $100,000 to rebuild the two north courts, resurface the two south courts, replace fences, install new gates, build a retaining wall, pave the midsection between the courts, install a backboard, build a shed to house our equipment and supplies, and purchase equipment for court maintenance and for teaching summer classes for the City of McCall Parks and Recreation.
MCTA was awarded the "USTA Community Tennis Association of the Year Award" in 2007 for the USTA's Intermountain Region. |

Event Information
A calendar of events is posted on the bulletin board at the public courts to inform the community of tennis activities. Communication through email and our calendar on the website will keep the community apprised of upcoming clinics and socials.
